Paws and Planet Web Redesign

Paws and Planet needed a complete marketing design package, from brand identity to website design. Their old website and logo were far from modern, and they didn‘t quite appeal to their customer‘s expectations regarding the online shopping experience.

As part of the redesign, the company was shifting from using Shopify to Woo Commerce, so I needed to make sure all design modifications work under the limitations that the payment gateway has, so that the shopping and checkout experience is still on brand.

Before I delved into the website design, I began working on refreshing its brand identity while still retaining the symbolic rabbit as its brand mascot. My team and I put life into it, subtly animating gestures that such a creature would have.

To complete the brand identity, besides the logo, I designed patterns and assembled a coherent color and typography style following the same joyful and “jumpy” feel. All this served as a solid foundation for any marketing design later on, such as designing the website.

Besides a general website design overhaul, the interface also emphasised the main actions customers would take. Therefore, I made sure the new website increases clarity on the whole buying experience, subscribes to the brand newsletter, or contacts the company. All these flows were rather unclear before.

I reached out to a company in Glasgow that put me in touch with Bojan and it was the best decision to get him on board to help me! The most important thing for me was trust as I had unfortunately previously had a poor experience - but Bojan ensured that I could trust that he would deliver what he said he was going to deliver! He gave me really really clear deadlines and updates on when he and the team would be working on something. ( I
