
Chessino App Redesign
Chessino combines Chess and Poker—two of the world's favorite board and card games for the ultimate challenge that requires tactics, skills, and a bit of luck to win the game. Product-wise, Chessino has an array of products, such as a web GL app and a mobile app for Android and iOS.
Chessino knocked on my door with a bugging problem—outdated experience that failed to match their customer‘s expectations. On top of that, they wanted to introduce new features to their product but were unsure how to make them blend well into the existing product structure without breaking the design

After a careful audit of the current product experience, I decided to take things forward by redefining the navigational structure to match the new product requirements, and later on, put a fresh, modern coat of paint to the interface, emphasizing dark-mode.
The redesigned product helped remove the visual clutter from the previous design, which made the visual elements automagically stand out. Such an approach helped me to create an intuitive, easy-to-use gamified experience to match their customer‘s expectations.
In terms of deliverables, Chessino ended up getting an expanded visual language, a refreshed marketing site, and a gaming experience for their web, desktop and mobile app.
